Emil Roan Kevir is one of the strongest servers in the ISTC field — especially from the ad court, where his wide left-handed delivery drags returners off the court before the point has properly begun. Born in Aarhus and based in Copenhagen, the 26-year-old has built his game on first-strike tennis: a big serve, a heavy first forehand, and a forward finish.
His best results have come on grass and fast indoor courts, where his serve-plus-one patterns are hardest to neutralize. A product of the Copenhagen Serve Lab and the power-development group at Westmere Technical College — where he played for the Westmere Falcons and studied Applied Engineering and Sport Systems — Kevir turned professional in 2019 and reached a career-high ranking of No. 11 in February 2026.
Calm, direct, and famously low-emotion on court, he works with coach Kasper Hald Neergaard and fitness coach Runa Voss Kjeldsen, and is represented by Obsidian Sports Partners.
A serve-dominant left-handed attacker whose wide ad-court delivery and first forehand define his patterns. He shortens his own service games and hunts second serves on return.
Three of his four career finals runs have come on grass or indoor hard — the surfaces where his first-strike tennis leaves opponents the least time to build rallies.
A 33–13 season, a career-high No. 11 in February, and a title at the Helio Bay Championships have made 2026 the strongest campaign of his career on the Obsidian Tour.
